HAPPY EASTER

Easter lily, pure and white
Like the Sunday morning bright
You an I together say
JESUS CHRIST has risen today.

This was my speech in a church program when
I was about 7 or 8 years old.

Now why is it that I can remember
that poem from over 26 years ago, but I can't
remember where I put my cell phone, the pattern I
just had in my hand or that very
important note I had?

Always remember to laugh at yourself!

Have a wonderful EASTER!!!!

Back to the Grind

Ok....so the moment I got home, I was thrown back into the fire.
I came home to a sick child and dental appointments and now I am sick.
Wonderful.  I tell you it never ends.

Anyway, those of you who purchased the Freedom Gone book, I mailed them out on Tuesday
(I think).  This week, the days have run together; they are in the mail.

The quilts at both shows were unbelievable.
Lots of hand quilting.  Beautiful.
I will post pictures when I get a chance to get them off my phone...ugh!
The photos I did get off my phone were pictures of Marie Webster quilts that were on display at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
The quilt show ended on Saturday and I wasn't flying to Dallas until Monday, so I took a trip to the museum.  It was such a joy to see the quilts in person.  Here are the pictures I took while there.  And the museum is huge and beautiful, however, I only wanted to see the quilts.
Enjoy the tour.

NEW YEAR...NEW DESIGNS

Hi all
We, the husband is back at work, finally.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
He us done with the motorcycle.
On to other news.
Since the shop closed, I have been busy focusing on designing.  I have a love of counted cross stitch samplers, however, I have had many try to teach me and I just can't get.  So I have designed my own version of samplers.
The first pattern is "She Works Joyfully with Her Hands".

It is available on my Etsy shop.

I am making this post from my Kindle and I don't have access to my pictures.  I believe there is a picture in a previous post.

I have 5 other patterns that will be released next week once I am home.
Last week I was a vendor at the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show.  This was my first time and it was wonderful.  I had such a great time meeting new people and the quilts were absolutely beautiful.
A BIG THANK YOU to all the folks in Indianapolis.  See you next year.

I am in Dallas this week for the Dallas Quilt Show.  It will be held at the Dallas Market venue, March 11-13.
Stop by if you are in town.

I will post next week.
In stitches,
Lola
