Hello Everyone,
ok.....aside from recovering from being sick, a vacation to the south and book signing at the Country Loft, I think I am getting back into the swing of things. I received a nice surprise late yesterday. I received a box from Generation Q Magazine. It was the return of my quilt and 5 issues of the Sept/Oct issue of Generation Q Magazine. That's right, me in a modern magazine. After a lot of nudging (over a year) from Jake (a publisher from Generation Q), I submitted a quilt and it debuts in the current issue. What excitement!!!!! The quilt title, "Me and My Black Eyed Peas". It appears on page 65. This is a wonderful issue of embroidery. Pick it up in your area or you can purchase from me as well. The magazine is $9.99. Let me know what you think of the quilt. Here are a couple of picks:

Lola,
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!!! I'm so happy for you. By the way, I grew up eating black eyed peas and I still love to make a big pot of them, and eat them until I pop! My mom was born in Mississippi and gave me those wonderful Southern roots.
The Country Loft is great full for a wonderful designing woman such as yourself. I will be checking you out in the new magazine.
Cheers, Susy B.
